'Rampage' Jackson is the newly crowned winner of the
fighting group UFC's light heavyweight division.
Jackson, a MMA fighter for years, won the belt on May 26,
2007 by beating the former champion Chuck Liddell in the
first round. Rampage had fought Chuck back in 2003 in
which they were both with the Pride organization and fought
in Japan.
Jackson is
now the UFC light heavyweight champ after beating
Liddell. Even though Liddell beat people like Randy
Couture, Tito Ortiz and Sobral, he lost again to Rampage
Jackson. Jackson now will be fighting the Pride
champion Dan Henderson according to UFC president Dana
White. This fight should happen in a few months and
Rampage will have to defend his title for the first time
against this powerful opponent.
