Description:
Open Theme Standard: OTS2
Screen Resolutions: 1024x768
Theme Description:
All objects of the theme are either always on top or "auto-hide" (shown via hotspots). The taskbar is moveable to the top or the bottom (alternates with shortcuts). The readme file covers this in detail. You can opt to have a crisp theme with nothing but the clock (which you can also hide, if you want), or you can have everything going at once. It's totally up to you.
Lastly, I added "on-the-fly" transparency changing. You can make it 100% opaque or even 100% transparent (why would you want to?). Since I really wanted this to be full of options, I made it to where you can actually change the transparency of the taskbar, popup, systray, clock, and shortcuts independent of each other or all together. You can also edit them all at the same time. I also made an option for people that sometimes hit the wrong option. If you accidentally just change the transparency of one of the objects, you can opt to switch everything else to that same transparency (so you don't have to independently do it). And, lastly, you can always find the transparency value of any object. The value will pop up in a message box.
Hope everyone likes this. Sorry it's not for more resolutions. It would actually be quite easy to work with anything bigger. Anything smaller might be a problem, but who really uses 800x600 any more?!? If I get a huge amount of interest in other resolutions, I might come back and make it.

Description:
Slick,
Slicker,
Slickest.
If you're not hip to the jive yet, the "Slick" litestep theme is the self-proclaimed most intuitive, productive interface a guy could hope for. (this guy, particularly: http://www.rofl.net/inhaler
Read the little info windows in the roadmap/screenshot for an introduction to the basic usage/features of Slick, or just download the theme and check it out for yourself ;)
###
What's New (2.0):
- Added: Desktop icon support. To enable, see the file "themevars.rc" in the config directory. Taken directly from omar's "austerity" theme.
- Added: Quicklaunch bar. Docked to the left side of the bar. Mouse-over the button to show the bar, click the button to pin the bar, otherwise mouse-out to hide it. Quicklaunch buttons have left-click and right-click actions. To modify QL items, see the file "ql.bar.rc" in the config dir.
- Added: PixelCam, accessable by a quicklaunch button, from the desktop shift-click menu, the bar's litestep icon menu, or Win-P (hotkey set in themevars.rc).
- Added: VDesks window now features a button to switch to Audio Controls mode, consisting of scrolling artist/track name & bitrate, time and length of the song, playing status, standard prev, play, pause, stop, and next buttons, and buttons to open/load winamp, toggle display of visualization plugin, and open file. Click song-name to open ID3.
- Changed: Touch-ups were made to the visual style to boost esthetics.
- Changed: Pinning behavior for tray/canopy windows. Now when a window is pinned and you mouse-over the button for the *other* window, the window will switch but the first will remain pinned. (ie, you can pin the tray, then when you mouse-over the button to show the winamp/vdesks window it will show, and when you mouse-out that window it will hide and the tray will come back, pinned). If both windows are pinned, whichever receives mouse-over will be the one shown. Thanks to Cerbie for the suggestion!
- Changed: VDesks only has 3 vdesks by default due to the smaller size. If you need more then 3 desks you can increase the number of desks in the file "vwm.rc" in the config dir. (What you'll need to change is simple and commented).
- Changed: Tray window auto-sizes to number of icons. Also, since I had to add a new button on the left side to make it fit in with the graphic style, I made that button another pin/unpin toggle.
- Changed: Middle mouse-click on litestep icon to check mail now.
- Fixed: Clickable area for tasks-icon scroll buttons increased slightly.
- Fixed: Improved scripting for faster drawing of bar elements.

Basically the "Slick" theme was just so dang slick I had to call it "Slick." Likewise, the "Slicker" theme is so much better than "Slick" that I just had to name it such, as a secondary name while still being part of the "Slick" family.
So you have a little litestep icon in the bottom right of your screen. Mouse-over it to show a minimal bar with the date/time (click on it to switch to command-line entry widget), a CPU/RAM meter, 2 buttons which control the visibility of the VirtualDesks window and the Tray window, and finally a button to hide the bar independantly of the litestep icon.
To hide the entire bar including the VDesks or Tray window and litestep icon, click the litestep icon and the option right under the mouse should be "Hide Interface", so effectively you can just double-click the litestep icon to hide everything. Mouse-over the spot where the icon lives to show the interface again.
The VDesks window is called such instead of simply VWM because it houses the taskbar as well. The taskbar displays the tasks only for your current work-area, making it easier to organize separate head-spaces ;)
Click the VDesks or Tray buttons to "pin" the associated window to the bar. Normally you can just mouse-over the button to show the window, then do what you need to with the window (like switching to a buried task) and go to work, and the window will hide itself as soon as the mouse leaves its area. When a window is "pinned" it will stay visible even after the mouse leaves the window.

See screenshot for verbose descriptio.
In a nutshell, it's a theme so dang slick it just had to be called "Slick."
You really need to try it to fully appreciate it, and to not do so is being mean to yourself.
You can afford the 1mb of bandwidth to try it out, and you owe it to yourself ;)
