Informationa bout the company behind these great Ducati wallpapers. This family know as Ducati
first started manufacturing electrical components and not
motorcycles. The Ducati family ran this company and
they became world known and very successful.
Everything was great until their factory was destroyed
during World War II. This left a huge void for
thousands of workers once numbering over 11,000.
After
the war, the bicycle was very popular since it was a cheap
mode of transport. But this was not enough so the
Ducati brothers devised a device that would hook up a motor
to the frame of the bicycle. This was called the Cucciolo
and proved to be very successful selling thousands of
units.
Ducati
did great selling sincgle cylinder machines but then did get
into twin cylinder motors. Ducati went through some
bad money issues in the 1980's but is on the right track
now.
